Puzzle Trooper

Puzzle Trooper is a game where you guide a small group of soldiers and challenge lots of enemies using a gameplay that's more typical of puzzle than action games.

The soldiers in your assault squad will appear in the upper part of the screen, while in the lower part you'll see a board full of colored gems. In contrast to similar games, in Puzzle Trooper you don't have to move two adjacent gems. Instead, you have to move one jewel around the entire board for six seconds. When you let it go, all those in groups of three or more will disappear and make your soldiers attack.

In between missions, you can customize your squad of soldiers. In total you'll find more than 200 characters you can add to your ranks, allowing you to make devastating attacks throughout the more than 150 missions.

Puzzle Trooper is a puzzle game with a very simple gameplay. In spite of having a pretty generic look, it offers a slight change on the overly familiar match-3 system we all know. It also features more than decent graphics and a charismatic cast of characters.
